When Dan was asked to design something 'private', he came up with this idea for a lampshade which bears the unmistakable pattern of a fingerprint. Something that, when shared, is closely associated with the loss of privacy - in this case the designer's own. He stretched his print around a sphere, its unique swirls becoming channels through which light would shine.
The original Detail design, the single large 24cmØ pendant, was launched last year and is available in a Limited Edition series of 30 pieces only.
