*미니멀 게스트 하우스 인테리어 [ kooo architects ] Hotel Far & Near XinYuqingli

중국 광저우를 찾는 젊은 여행객들을 위한 게스트하우스

4층 규모, 총 11개의 객실로 이루어진 게스트 하우스의 인테리어 디자인은 기존 공간 및 구조를 유지하며 최소한의 디자인 개입으로 미니멀한 공간을 완성하였다. 기존 콘크리트 구조물과 앙상블을 이루는 목재 판넬 마감은 따뜻하면서 단순한 디자인을 구현한다.

Hotel Far & Near XinYuqingli is a minimalist hotel located in Guangzhou, China, designed by kooo architects. XinYuqingli is the second guesthouse kooo architects designed after the hotel Far & Near Nanhao St, targeted towards young travelers. As a four-floor guesthouse with 411 sqm gross area, the owner needed more rooms to satisfy the increasing number of guests. The reconstruction was to maximize the use of space, in turn creating 11 guest rooms, including seven double and four single rooms. The existing beams and columns are simple and clean, aimed at preserving the beauty of the existing concrete structures. The architects chose to expose them as a part of the interior design. The guest rooms are furnished with basswood plywood, while the public area use meranti plywood in contrast with the exposed concrete structures. In order to echo the environment of its surrounding traditional residences, the architects intentionally kept the historical gray bricks on the existing façade.
