두개의 공간으로 연출되는 캣워크라 재미있네요.
수평적 리니어한 공간를 두개의 레이어로 나누어 구성했네요.
두개의 수평적 레이어는 수직으로 내려온 가벽을 통해 연결되고 있어요.
두개의 레이어를 연결하는 가벽은 마치 열주의 반복적인 패턴으로
관람자로 하여금 긴장감의 연속의 끈을 놓지 못하게 하네요.
디자인은 모두 연결되어 있는데 소통하지 못하는 지금의 현실이 안타깝네요.
이번 프로젝트와 같이 유형의 디자인과 그 디자인의 확장된 개념으로의
공간이 만난다면 더 좋은 디자인으로 발현 될 것 같아요.

following a number of successful creative collaborations in the past, internationally renowned architect
rem koolhaas of OMA and prada have teamed up to create a two-storey catwalk for the italian fashion label's
fall/winter 2011 collection. standing in the main exhibition space of the prada fondazione in milan
(which was also designed by OMA in 2008), the largely open steel structure serves as a house within a house
complete with 5 meter-wide rooms for the audience.

circumscribed with a milanese-style balustrade railing on both the first and second storey,
the 'fashion house' features a series of generous staircases to enable the models to circulate both levels.
starting from a separate catwalk adjacent to the project, the multi-level route first begins at the top
then circles down to the ground floor. layers of structural partitions separate the audience into
groups of fifty on either side of the catwalk. finished in a bright sea foam blue, elements of
the original room--expansive concrete arches are translated and extended through the structure's ceiling.
