캠퍼스의 수평적 건축환경을 연속시키는 저층형 기숙사는 중앙에 커다란 중정을 기점으로
리니어한 두개의 동으로 배치된다. 외부의 복도를 따라 연속된 유닛의 구축은 건축컨셉이 지향하는
지속가능한 디자인 원칙을 따라 플렉시블하며 심플하게 모듈화된 콘크리트 블록을 조립하여
구축되어진다. 여기에 절제된 마감재는 효율적인 건축구축에 일조한다.
모듈화된 콘크리트 모듈을 사용한 건식환경은 습식환경에서 발생하는
잉여 부산물을 미연에 방지하며 공기의 단축 그리고 향후 해체의 용이와 더불어
자재의 재활용에도 용이하다는 장점을 지닌다.
저소득 또는 임시거주자를 위한 템퍼러리 주택으로 활용해도 좋을 듯 싶습니다.

Barcelona-based studio dataAE has recently completed a student housing on the same block as the School of Architecture, inside the ETSAV
campus, Sant Cugat del Vallès, Barcelona. The low building adapts to
the low-density surroundings, while seeking to reinforce the volume's
relationship with the campus. A central community patio intertwines
nature and the building.
The residential program is characterised by extreme flexibility in all
spaces: inside each of the 57 housing units; in the 1000 square metre
atrium, which can be used as a space for social events; and inside an
intermediate bioclimatic space that allows improvement of the building's
energetic efficiency.
Using prefabricated concrete modules with a minimum number of fixed
elements, the construction process simplified finishings in order to
invest in energy efficiency. The factory manufacturing allows for time
savings, greater execution controls, use of dry construction and
minimizing waste materials during the construction process. The
construction elements can be disassembled, recycled and reused.
