The “Asian Streetmarket” character was one of the main ideas for the interior of this restaurant designed by DiPPOLD Innenarchitektur. The owners, who grew up in HongKong, wanted to take up and reinterpret the colorful hustle and bustle of traditional food markets. Aim was to show the guest as much as possible about this culture and its diversity and to turn the restaurant visit into an overwhelming experience for all senses. After entering the location the restaurant presents itself in its full size.

Not to imagine from the outside you can find the two floors area with a beautiful gallery, allowing you a fantastic view all over the place with all its beautiful corners, highlights and the open kitchen. Wall claddings made of old wood, or a bar cladding of corrugated iron as well as the flooring in the look of paving stones intend to act improvised while symbolizing the streets of Hong Kong. After a cup of tea as a welcome drink the “balcony” with wooden beams and light chains gives you the perfect view of whats happening on the ground floor.

Many different seating possibilities, light sources and individual pieces of furniture becoma a discovery trip for the eyes. Former birdcages in the center of the space now act as oversized pendant lamps. The service stations were designed on the Idea of mobile food carts of asian markets. Interior architect Caroline Dippold and her team (Natascha Otto, Nicola Machauer and Stefanie Freitag) created with a great combination of colours and materials a quite exciting new design concept for this asian chain.
