전원생활을 위한 세컨드하우스, 전원 별장의 남다른 건축환경은 주변자연환경의 조화를 첫번째로 거주자와 자연을 연결하는 매개공간을 제안합니다. 사전조립형태로 제공되는 캐빈(오두막)은 거주자가 원하는 대지에 트레일러를 이용, 설치 가능합니다. 박공지붕으로 이루어진 원룸형태의 캐빈은 작은 테크로 구성, 연인, 친구 때로 혼자만의 사색을 위한 최적으로 장소로 제공됩니다.
GO Logic designed these seasonal guesthouses, made up of three micro cabins, on an island off the coast of Maine.
The owners, who reside primarily in Austria, spend their summers and early fall on the island, in a larger, older residence.
And when the adjacent property, a defunct granite quarry with a dilapidated trailer, became available, they purchased it, with plans to build a guesthouse for visiting family and friends.
This resulted in these small cabins being built on piers that hover over the former quarry, minimizing the impact of the recovering vegetation in the area.
Each cabin is connected by a series of platforms, that step down to the next cabin.
