As always when we look at good Japanese architecture, we are seeing strong expressions in simple uncompromising houses. The house KG from Baqueratta Architectural Design Office is no exception. The two main houses compliment each other well, and provide a strong visual sensation.
Inside there are stylish details, the use of an elevator instead of stairs, offers just the right New York feeling. Another good detail is the warm dark brickwall, which provides a fine contrast to the otherwise somewhat cool Japanese interior style.
